On Thursday 02 June 2016, His Majesty King Mthimkhulu III of amaHlubi tribe in his effort to unite Africans has announced that International migrants are welcome in South Africa. He told the media during a press briefing at the African Diaspora Forum's headquarters in Yeoville.

ADF has launched the Social Cohesion in Orange Farm the 16 April 2016.

The township has welcomed the initiative.

ADF has organised on Saturday 2nd April 2016 in Katlehong a soccer tournament on social cohesion.

This event also saw many cultural performances  (dance, poetry, etc...)

WOMEN LEAGUE'S COMMITTEE 3rd MEETING : Our 3rd Meeting focused on the preparation of our Women's League Launch. That was on the 16 February. Most of our Women attend the meeting and everything went good.

ADF's SOCIAL COHESION PROJECT

             

  29th January 2016, ADF launched a social cohesion project in Katlehong (Ekurhuleni Municipality). This project is supported by the French embassy in South Africa and CCFD-TERRESOLIDAIRE.
The project which will last for 18 months, will cover the following townships : Katlehong, Alexandra, Orange Farm, Etwatwa, Diepsloot.

The African Diaspora Forum is seeking for individuals as well as organisations to join the Women's League .Its vision is to be the voice of women empowerment, emancipation, integration for migrants as well as South-African citizens. We want to foster a society whereby an African woman is able to lead developmental initiatives within a global context .Women from all over Africa are welcome to join and its free of charge.
